Spirit Airlines Connects Hartford and Pittsburgh to Fort Myers and Tampa
At Spirit Airlines, there’s no such thing as too much Sunshine State! Now, South Florida’s Hometown Airline is delivering more sunshine and more service to its two newest cities. Just in time for winter, Spirit will begin service to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers and Tampa International Airport (TPA) from Hartford’s Bradley International Airport (BDL) and Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT). The daily seasonal flights will bring new ultra-low fare options for customers to escape the cold and plan the ultimate tropical beach escape.
Spirit will also begin service from Hartford and Pittsburgh to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) beginning tomorrow. The airline will roll out additional service from Pittsburgh to Orlando, Las Vegas, Houston and Los Angeles in the coming weeks.
"We are excited to bring these two popular destinations to the newest cities in our network,” said Mark Kopczak, Spirit Airlines' vice president of network planning. "Spirit Airlines is committed to bringing more ultra-low fare options to Hartford and Pittsburgh and we look forward to growing our presence in Southwest Florida. Our service will allow more friends to reconnect and more families to go on vacation, saving money on airfare to spend it at their destination.”
