Thomas Cook Airlines Celebrates Holidays with New Flights to JFK
Thomas Cook Airlines makes celebrating the holidays in the U.K. easier this winter with its new year-round, three-times weekly service to Manchester from New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK). As an added gift for the holidays, Thomas Cook Airlines is offering holiday fares starting as low as $209, one-way on select departures. The strong U.S. dollar against the British pound makes a holiday in the U.K. more affordable this winter season, and Manchester is magical this time of year and is the perfect gateway to the countryside of Northern England, The Lake District and Liverpool.
The additional direct flights to Manchester from JFK will operate on Airbus A330 equipment. All tickets include free checked baggage (up to 50 pounds) as well as meals and inflight entertainment, available on seat-back screens with a choice of free and paid-for premium content, featuring more than 30 movies and 50 TV shows.
The extension of flights makes New York the third year-round U.S. destination for Europe’s seventh largest long-haul airline. The company’s Condor brand currently provides year-round flights from Las Vegas and Seattle to Frankfurt, where holiday travelers can experience the quintessential German Christmas markets. Holiday fares start as low as $299, one-way on select departures from Seattle and $319 from Las Vegas. Through its recently announced partnership with Alaska Airlines, Condor also offers easy connections to Seattle along the west coast, and members of Alaska Air’s Mileage Plan can earn and redeem flights on all Condor flights.
Unlike other low-cost, transatlantic carriers, Condor offers business, premium and economy classes, and all passengers receive complimentary checked baggage, beverages, meals and in-flight entertainment. Condor’s Business Class features lie-flat seats, a personal in-seat, premium touch-screen entertainment system, power ports at every seat and gourmet, five-course meals with complimentary wine, beer and cocktails. Business Class passengers also have access to priority check-in and lounge access. Premium Class features seats with added legroom, leg rests and adjustable headrests, a premium in-flight, in-seat entertainment system with an extended program, USB ports at every seat, premium meals and complimentary beverages
