OneJet has announced its return to Memphis International Airport (MEM) with nonstop flights to and from Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) beginning March 27. The company will concurrently begin nonstop service between Memphis and Kansas City International Airport (KCI). The weekday flights will be offered twice daily, offering convenient morning and afternoon departures Monday through Friday.
OneJet, which previously operated at MEM from June 2015 until April 2016, will use larger ERJ135 aircraft with a comfortable 30-seat cabin for the flights. The Pittsburgh and Kansas City routes will feature OneJet Plus service, offering travelers enhanced amenities, including expanded legroom at each seat; complimentary 4G high-speed Wi-Fi; streaming entertainment gate to gate; and complimentary beer, wine and snacks en route. Travelers will also receive the same check-in conveniences that standard OneJet flights provide, including TSA Pre✓ access for eligible travelers and valet planeside baggage service.
“We are delighted to welcome back OneJet and excited that previously unserved destinations will now have nonstop service from MEM,” said Pace Cooper, chairman of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority’s Board of Commissioners. “The twice-daily frequency to Pittsburgh should be particularly welcome option for business travelers.”
“The return to Memphis and the introduction of these nonstop routes underscores the continued economic growth of the city as well as the consistent demand from some of our largest customers to offer improved connectivity to key regional destinations,” said Matthew Maguire, CEO of OneJet. “We are excited to be back in Memphis and look forward to offering our Memphis-based customers an expanded set of travel options to meet their needs.”
