Edelweiss Launches New Direct Flight between Denver and Zurich
On June 4, Edelweiss expanded its route network to North America with the launch of seasonal flights between Denver, Colorado and Zurich.
“We are very excited that Edelweiss is coming to Denver. Nearly 30,000 passengers travel between Denver and Switzerland each year, so this new nonstop service is supporting both business and leisure travelers and providing customers with a more convenient and relaxing travel experience,” said Larry Ryan, Lufthansa Group senior director of Sales for the USA.
The route is operated twice a week with an Airbus A330-300 that seats 315 passengers. Edelweiss Business Class is equipped with 27 fully lie-flat seats and a state-of-the-art inflight entertainment system with sixteen-inch HD touchscreens. Economy Max encompasses 56 comfortable seats with six inches of more legroom, a deeper recline and many other amenities. The 232 seats in Economy Class provide for a relaxing flight and offer an inflight entertainment system that also features HD touchscreens.
