Southwest Airlines Launches 5 New Daily Nonstop Routes at OAK

Daily nonstop service to Newark/New York commenced April 8, and a daily nonstop to San Antonio began on July 8. Daily nonstop service to Orlando begins today, July 14. July 15 marks the first daily nonstops from OAK to MSP and IND.

On July 15, Oakland International Airport (OAK), together with Southwest Airlines, celebrated daily nonstop service to five highly-sought destinations from the East Bay:

  • New York/Newark, New Jersey (EWR)
  • San Antonio, Texas (SAT)
  • Orlando, Florida (MCO)
  • Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota (MSP)
  • Indianapolis, Indiana (IND)

Daily nonstop service to Newark/New York commenced April 8, and a daily nonstop to San Antonio began on July 8.  Daily nonstop service to Orlando begins today, July 14.  July 15 marks the first daily nonstops from OAK to MSP and IND.

These nonstop flights operate daily and bring the total number of Southwest destinations offered from OAK to a record high of 34.

Southwest Airlines will be the sole carrier on each route from OAK.
