WestJet will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the start of nonstop service from Austin to YYC Calgary International Airport, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on May 2, 2019.
Representatives from WestJet and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport will speak at the press event and will be available for one-on-one interviews following the official ceremony.
The seasonal route to Calgary, part of WestJet’s summer schedule, will offer twice-weekly flights, Thursdays and Sundays. Flights will depart Austin at 3:35 p.m. and arrive in Calgary at 6:31 p.m. Flights from Calgary will depart at 10 a.m. and arrive in Austin at 2:43 p.m.
