Great news for the customers of the Lufthansa Group in Montreal and Quebec Province: Brussels Airlines, Belgium's home carrier and a member of the Lufthansa Group, will launch its new, non-stop seasonal service between Montréal, Quebec and Brussels, Belgium beginning in Mar. 2020. Service will be offered five times per week between Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport and Brussels Airport, offering new travel opportunities between Canada and Brussels Airlines' 17 African destinations, as well as additional connections to Europe and Israel.

"We have been serving Canada for over six decades and the ongoing expansion of our airlines serving Montreal underscores the Lufthansa Group's increasing commitment to the Quebec market, its economy and our customers,” said Hans DeHaan, senior director of sales Canada, Lufthansa Group. “Brussels Airlines will now be a go-to airline for Montreal-based passengers to reach the European Union Capital and key cities across the African continent, a specialty of Brussels Airlines.”

With Brussels' new gateway in Montreal, Lufthansa Group’s passenger airlines will be fully represented in this region, joining Austrian, which was successfully introduced to Montreal in Apr., as well as Lufthansa and SWISS. Passengers in the region now have even more options when choosing to travel internationally to Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa and beyond.

“We are thrilled to offer Montrealers direct, non-stop access to Brussels with Belgium's premium home carrier – Brussels Airlines,” said Christophe Allard, business development manager North America, Brussels Airlines. “Now, our new customers in Montreal will be able to experience Brussels Airlines’ latest Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins, with which we aim to offer a personal experience, recreating a boutique hotel ambiance at 30,000 feet."
