Delta Air Lines will resume nonstop service between Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM) and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) beginning March 4. The airline will use a Canadair RJ 700 aircraft for the reinstated daily service.

Mathieu, Birmingham Airport Authority president and CEO. “We are grateful for our ongoing partnership with Delta and we’re thankful that our customers will be able to enjoy safe and efficient daily service between Birmingham and Detroit.”
Delta has put in place more than 100 protective measures to ensure a safe travel experience for customers and employees through the Delta CareStandard. Travelers can expect personal care at every point in the customer journey.
