LATAM Airlines Brazil Resumes International Operations to Rome and Boston

Starting in July 2022, LATAM Airlines Brazil will resume its flights to Rome (Italy) and Boston (USA) from its São Paulo/Guarulhos connection hub. With this, LATAM will have resumed operations to all of its destinations in Europe and the United States which were interrupted as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic

As of March 2022, LATAM Airlines Group has restored flights to 135 destinations in 20 countries: Germany, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, the United States, France, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, United Kingdom, Dominican Republic and Uruguay.

São Paulo-Rome

The route will resume with an offer of three weekly flights from July 9, 2022. The operation will be carried out on Boeing 777-300 aircraft, with capacity for 372 passengers in the Economy cabin and 38 passengers in the Premium Business cabin. Flights will leave from Guarulhos airport at 17:20 (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). The return will leave from Rome at 12:45 (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday). The resumption of the route is subject to the approval of the authorities.

São Paulo-Boston

The route will resume with an offer of three weekly flights from July 1, 2022. The flights will be with Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with capacity for 270 passengers in the Economy cabin and 30 passengers in the Premium Business cabin. Flights will leave from Guarulhos airport at 22:50 (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday). The return will leave from Boston at 6:15pm (Monday, Thursday, and Saturday).

The LATAM Airlines Group has progressively continued to strengthen biosecurity measures since the pandemic began, following the recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and the health authorities of the countries where it operates.
