airBaltic reaffirms its commitment to resuming scheduled flights to and from Ukraine as soon as the airspace reopens and all necessary approvals are secured. The airline also plans to expand connections beyond Riga, linking Kyiv with the other Baltic capitals Tallinn and Vilnius.
In preparation, an airBaltic delegation visited Kyiv this week to meet with local stakeholders and explore opportunities to restore essential air connectivity. The delegation met with representatives from the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, Boryspil International Airport, and the Embassy of Latvia to Ukraine.

airBaltic is looking forward to the reopening of Ukraine’s airspace and to linking the three Baltic capitals with Kyiv and Lviv. The airline has also integrated the Ukrainian language into its official website.
