AtlasIED’s GLOBALCOM.IP platform satisfies the demanding communications requirements of the world’s busiest airports. Comprising a complete ecosystem of intelligent products, GLOBALCOM.IP manages every facet of communications, including zoned gate announcements and routing of emergency alerts from life safety systems. Messages (pre-recorded and live), schedules, and routing instructions are programmed into the system’s Announcement Control System (ACS), which manages the flow of communications traffic from amplifiers, zone controllers, and microphone stations to various speakers and displays. Ambient noise sensors, meanwhile, feed data to the ACS, enabling the volume to adjust automatically so that messages can be heard over the noise.
