A new app by national law firm LeClairRyan gives transportation pros rapid access to critical information related to emergency response, regulatory compliance and more.
Available for both Apple iOS and Android, the app was designed by attorneys from the firm's aviation and transportation practice groups, said Mark A. Dombroff, an Alexandria-based member of LeClairRyan who co-chairs the firm's aviation industry practice group.
"The app gives you access to government forms, emergency-response handbooks, pertinent rules and regulations, emergency contact and telephone lists, and additional material that will never be further than your smartphone or tablet," Dombroff noted.
The storehouse of critical information is relevant for decision-makers at the gamut of aviation companies, including:
- All airlines, including FAA Part 121, 125 and135 operators
- Cargo operators
- Charter operators
- Fractional operators
- Aerospace manufacturers
- Airports
- Maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) companies
- Corporate operators, and
- UAS/drone companies.
The app, which includes tabs for aviation and pipeline emergency response, offers information and resources relevant to transportation companies in the pipeline, railroad, maritime, trucking, mass transit and autonomous-vehicle sectors, Dombroff noted.
