Honeywell Introduces Navitas Turnaround Manager Software Module

March 12, 2021

The Honeywell Turnaround Manager (TMAN), part of the Honeywell Navitas Platform Suite, is an integrated software module that supports safer and faster stand turnaround and capacity optimization. It helps to improve situational awareness across landside and airside operations by integrating with gate systems, the Airport Operations Database and Advanced Visual Docking Guidance Systems (A-VDGS). The Honeywell TMAN software is one of the two main components of the Honeywell Navitas Gate and Turnaround offering.

TMAN allows airport operators to control and monitor the visual docking guidance systems and gate equipment – increasing the speed and visibility of turnaround operations and reducing downtime by up to 25 percent. With advanced support maintenance functions, engineering crews can react faster to faults – encouraging greater uptime and ground operational effectiveness.

With the help of modern 3D technology and multiple-source data collection, Honeywell Navitas Gate and Turnaround offering:

Increases situational awareness for the apron/ramp controllers. Offers integrated view of all airport stands and docking status. Provides a flight plan viewer and manages operations through a rich user interface.

Displays easy-to-read ramp information. Clearly display operation messages to pilots and ground handlers during turnaround process.

Provides clear user interface. Maintenance interface provides both alerts and alarms to indicate fault and maintenance status of the A-VDGS units and connect gate equipment.

Optimizes resources allocation. Improve uptime of stand operations helps reduce delays and congestions despite Irregular Operations (IROPS), like adverse weather conditions such as thick snow or heavy rains.

Honeywell offers a true, end-to-end airport management solution that unifies air and ground traffic control, airport operations and maintenance with predictive performance analysis.
