Task Execution
To enable the execution phase to begin, it is necessary to perform the check workflow. This is completed through the FleetCycle® Predock Checklist which ensures that the check has milestones included and that all resources required are included such as material, tooling, and personnel. Finally, the check will be refined through data mining ensuring the most efficient check is created.
Once the check has been effectively flowed it is then possible to assign the electronic task cards to individuals, departments or supervisors. Each electronic task card is listed in the flow priority with the most urgent at the top of the list. Users view in real-time the material status, its availability and the related mechanics availability to accomplish the task. All the data is presented to users in a graphical view, showing the milestones within the check, the current real-time status of the check, any items requiring action and whether the check is on schedule to be completed as planned.
Non-routine Task Management
With mobile devices, non-routine tasks can be entered as they are discovered providing visibility to all users. With most mobile devices it is possible to record an image of the defect or related information. This is saved alongside the record and viewable by all users. Any non-routine tasks raised are automatically linked to the generating task to enable accurate future forecasting. The non-routine tasks can be quickly assessed and worked, if necessary, to ensure the overall planned timescales for the aircraft release can be met.

Efficiencies are greatly improved through FCXP with flexibility in assigning labour and since all execution data is updated in real time, all FCXP users have the current status of the maintenance activity and can plan accordingly.
