Component Control Releases Updated Mobile Technician Application
LAS VEGAS, March 27, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Component Control announced today the release of Quantum MobileTech™ v2.1 which will extend the Mobile Solution Suite of the award winning Quantum Control family of aviation software solutions for MRO's, Distributors and Logistics Management Companies.
The new release of MobileTech adds upgraded features to the core functionality of Labor Recording, Reserving Inventory and Managing Work Order Tasks by adding Electronic Signoff and the Mobile Management of Non-routine Tasks, Work Instructions, BoM's, Notes, and Status'.
"The real-time data provides us with accurate forecasting as to labor cost and enables us to better queue our work groups so that we know precisely when material will move from station to station," said Ken Wierzba, a 16-year veteran of aviation MRO services at SAFRAN. "This also helps with overall planning for work in process, materials and issuing to jobs. Another advantage is being able to know exactly where on the floor the product is located, who is working on it and its current status."
"We are receiving incredible market interest and have already done large deployments leveraging the solution at both Aviation MRO Companies and our existing Aircraft Service Center customers," said Daniel Tautges, SVP Component Control. "Extending Quantum's mobile capability is a big part of our 2018 roadmap and the early success of MobileTech seems to be an indicator of significant market demand."
