Moscow Domodedovo Airport Wins Intranet and Digital Workplace Awards 2019

Moscow Domodedovo Airport has become a gold winner at the 2019 Intranet and Digital Workplace Awards. The ceremony took place in London. The award recognizes DME’s intranet AURA providing employees with a powerful set of knowledge management services.

The jury was particularly impressed by an integrated approach to creating the project comprising technological solutions and platform services as well as employee communication tools. The right balance between intranet and social media provides employees with an opportunity to exchange knowledge, develop strong horizontal linkages, and come up with new ideas.

Experts highlighted that AURA serves as a unique platform for sharing opinions and ideas that increases employee engagement. For instance, 40 percent of users visit the intranet daily, while 80 percent employ it monthly. It has become easier to communicate with your colleagues. Thus, 2 percent of AURA users have met new colleagues there, with 43 percent of visitors finding interesting people on the platform. Overall, 13 thousand DME employees use the intranet.
