When used as the new GS Planning as a Service (PlaaS), this solution can effectively help airports address challenges relating to maintaining flight schedules as passenger demand continues to rise amidst various disruptions and persistent labor shortages.

INFORM, a global software provider for AI-driven Digital Decision-Making optimizing business operations, headquartered in Aachen, Germany, will be exhibiting its optimization software at the upcoming Passenger Terminal EXPO 2023 at Booth 2369. The event will be held on March 14-16, at the RAI Amsterdam in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Next to its new solution PlaaS, INFORM will be showcasing its proven GS Planning Stands & Terminal and GS WorkforcePlus modules.

Accessible for airports of all sizes, GS Planning as a Service can be implemented without airports having to install the software on site. Airport staff can focus on analyzing the strategic and operational planning results generated by the solution without investing in the learning curve in order to gain its valuable decision-making support. The solution delivers optimized strategic and tactical planning at a low cost and with minimal effort. In the post-pandemic recovery period, it is an effective way to mitigate challenges relating to increasing passenger demand, disruptions to flight schedules, and labor shortages.

INFORM’s GS Planning Stands & Terminal module tackles long-, medium- and short-term planning of aircraft parking positions (i.e., stands), in addition to such terminal resources as passenger gates, check-in counters and baggage belts. It applies powerful optimization algorithms to support planners in the automatic creation of optimal personnel shift demands and ground support equipment requirements automatically. GS WorkforcePlus is INFORM’s workforce management solution delivering a mobile employee portal that facilitates efficient communication and interaction between planners and employees relating to vacation planning, employee preferences, schedule adjustments and shift swaps.

On hand will be INFORM’s Senior Vice President, Aviation and Executive Member of the INFORM Board Uschi Schulte-Sasse along with other Aviation Division representatives.
