Kloska grew up in Morrison, Colo., next to the mountains.

Two years ago, Jeff Kloska began doing Crossfit to improve his physical fitness something that give him ample energy to manage, supervise and coordinate the activities and operations of Meacham International Airport. He is the airport manager at the airport, which sits 5 miles north of downtown Fort Worth. Meacham Airport is a busy general aviation airport serving the DFW Metroplex with over 400 based aircraft. Part of his role there is manage, supervise and coordinate activities and operations within other divisions, departments and outside agencies. He also provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Director of Aviation and city management. In addition to managing Meacham Airport’s staff, Kloska coordinates with TxDOT and the FAA to keep Meacham’s Capital Improvement Plan on track to meet the airport’s needs. Kloska came to Meacham from Dallas’s medium hub airport Love Field, home to Southwest Airlines. He was an operations supervisor for the City of Dallas at Love Field for three years. Before Love Field, Jeff worked for Meacham in Airport Operations and Centennial Airport in Airport Operations and Planning in Denver, Colo.  Kloska has his Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management with a minor in Business Management. He is a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and he has his ACE certifications in Airport Operations and Airport Security from AAAE in addition to having completed Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting training. Kloska is very involved in the community around the airport, organizing airport events such as its 90th birthday party and regular fly-ins. He also speaks at numerous schools and career days, encouraging students and the younger generations to look into aviation as a passion and a career. Kloska is involved in the Fort Worth Chamber and is Vice Chair of the Texas Airports Council.
