    July 1, 2015, Orlando, FL – AirIT, the leading provider of information technology products and services to the air transportation industry, announces that Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) will replace its existing operational, flight information display, and passenger processing technology with AirIT’s AODB (Airport Operational Database), FIDS (Flight Information Display System), and EASE™ shared use passenger processing platform to deliver enhanced facility flexibility and operational efficiency.

    AirIT’s EASE™ (Extended Airline System Environment) shared use passenger processing technology provides an increased operationally-flexible environment that allows for a combination of airline dedicated use, preferential use, and shared use resources. AirIT’s virtualized shared use platform will assist in the optimization of SFB facilities by providing flexibility in assigning and sharing key terminal resources, while also delivering the ability to allow airline carriers to operate in their own native system environments.
