Bradley International Airport to Welcome Via Airlines, Add Nonstop Service to Pittsburgh

The Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA) is pleased to announce the addition of Via Airlines to its menu of airlines operating out of Bradley International Airport. The airline will debut nonstop service to Pittsburgh in 2019.

The Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA) is pleased to announce the addition of Via Airlines to its menu of airlines operating out of Bradley International Airport. The airline will debut nonstop service to Pittsburgh in 2019. 

“We are very excited about the opportunity to partner with Bradley International Airport in serving both business and leisure travelers with nonstop jet service to Pittsburgh,” said Irit Vizer, Via Airlines President and COO. “At Via Airlines, we take pride in providing our guests with nonstop service, as it not only helps travelers move to and from destinations faster and more economically than existing options, but also helps ensure our mission to continue support for previously underserved communities in need of multi-city connectivity,” added Vizer.

This new nonstop, however, will bring benefits to both our business and leisure passengers by offering a cost-effective and convenient option to travel between the two cities. We look forward to our partnership with Via Airlines and their success at Bradley International Airport.” 

The service will commence on July 22, 2019, on an Embraer ERJ145, with 50 seats. The flight will depart Bradley International Airport at 3:27 p.m.  and arrive at Pittsburgh International Airport at 4:51 p.m. From Pittsburgh International Airport, the flight will leave at 1:39 p.m. and arrive at Bradley International Airport at 2:57 p.m. It will operate four times a week, year-round, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
