Local Food Trucks Add to Dining Options at Sacramento International Airport
Foodies flying in and out of Sacramento International Airport (SMF) now have another option to sample local cuisine as part of its new food truck program. Three days a week from now through July 31, diners can sample everything from street tacos to Cuban fusion, whether they’re flying through the airport or are simply looking for a quick and easy place for lunch.
The food truck program is a great addition to the concession options for customers, employees of the airport and its ground transportation providers.
“The food trucks are an exciting addition here at SMF,” said Sacramento County Airports Director Cindy Nichol. “They give us the opportunity to provide a changing variety of delicious and convenient lunch options that really complement SMF’s excellent concessions inside the terminals.”
The trucks are part of the SacToMoFo Catering fleet and offer lunch options Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (11am – 1pm). They are located at Airport Blvd and Lindbergh Drive in the parking lot behind the Terminal B Ride Share pick-up location.
Online advanced ordering and food-to-go options are available. Each food truck's online ordering link opens one hour before lunch service starts. Guests can find each lunch event on the calendar at the SacToMoFo website.
