Jackson Municipal Airport Authority Announces New Director of Airport Facilities
The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) named Eric Trivett as their new director of airport facilities. He has more than 15 years of diverse and challenging supervisory experience in the building/production maintenance field. Trivett will begin his new position on Aug. 17.
“I am excited and honored to be joining JMAA as the director of airport dacilities,” said Trivett. “I look forward to working with administration, staff and the citizens of Jackson to help keep JMAA moving forward and being part of the city’s pride and joy.”
Most recently, Trivett was the operations duty manager for the Memphis Shelby County Airport. He has also served as the maintenance/operations manager for the Columbus Airport in Georgia. In addition, Trivett has worked for New Horizons Behavioral Health, Exide Technologies, Equipment Service Company and Sun Healthcare.
In Trivett’s new role, he will direct, manage, supervise, and coordinate the maintenance of the airport facilities within maintenance and custodial services. This includes ground/building maintenance, custodial services, and energy conservation. JMAA operates Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (JAN) and Hawkins Field (HKS).
Trivett graduated from Troy University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and earned his master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He is a certified member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives.
