FAA Opens New Atlanta Flight Operations Facility
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on Nov. 16, dedicated the new Atlanta Flight Operations Facility at Cobb County International Airport.
The 32,050-square-foot facility includes a 23,100-square-foot hangar that will accommodate six BE-300 aircraft that support Flight Program Operations flight inspection mission. The facility also includes shop space for aircraft maintenance and repair and administrative space that can accommodate 26 FAA employees.

The Nashville International Airport (BNA) Board of Commissioners awarded the Hensel Phelps | Fentress Architects Progressive Design-Build Team the new $327 million Terminal Lobby and International Arrivals Facility.
Upon completion, the new IAF will strengthen the airport’s circulation by creating a central core that optimizes and facilitates passenger flow.

On Nov. 5, the Tri-Cities Airport, A-1 Hospitality, Congressman Dan Newhouse, and Visit Tri-Cities broke ground on a new airport hotel.
The four-story, business-traveler focused hotel will host 99 rooms, indoor pool, fitness center, boardroom, and a fast casual bistro serving as a coffee bar by day and cocktail bar in the evenings.

Lamar Advertising to Manage OOH Inventory at MSN
Lamar Advertising Co. has been awarded a contract by Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) to manage all Out of Home advertising inventory within the airport.
