Bobrick to Showcase New Restroom Accessories, Preview New Cubicle System at A’19 Conference on Architecture
Bobrick Washroom Equipment, Inc. will showcase a range of new and innovative restroom accessories engineered for heavy traffic, standard use and prestige buildings at the A’19 Conference on Architecture at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Bobrick will highlight its Designer Series Soap Dispensers, available in several designer finishes, an improved version of its SureFlo Automatic Soap Dispenser that offers greater durability and reliability with easier installation, as well as its LED Backlit Mirrors and ADA Recessed Hand Dryer, two accessories engineered for upscale facilities.
Attendees will have the opportunity to use Bobrick’s new Klutch Mobile Device Holder, an innovative new product that keeps mobile devices safe and secure within toilet cubicles and throughout the restroom. Research has shown that 75 percent of Americans admit to using their mobile devices while in the restroom.
“Whether it’s sustainable and cost-saving products for heavy traffic buildings, high-design solutions for prestige facilities or novel solutions for a range of buildings like the Klutch, we’re excited to discuss our new palette of design possibilities with design professionals,” says Nilofar Yagana, Business Unit Director, Accessories.
Bobrick will also offer a preview of its new Evolve Cubicles, a new European-style cubicle system engineered for heavy traffic environments. Evolve is a highly durable cubicle system with built-in privacy features, including no-sightline doors and panels, occupancy indicators and an integrated framing system. On launch, it will be available to specify in five colors.
“Architects need a solution that is less expensive and more durable than a high-end cubicle but offers more sophisticated design and greater privacy than a traditional gap-free toilet partition,” says Roumany Samhakson, Business Unit Director, Partitions. “Evolve’s durability and price point should make it viable for a wide range of heavy traffic environments, from shopping areas and malls to convention centers and airports.”
Evolve consists of ½-inch-thick Class-A compact grade laminate, solid phenolic panels and doors with a robust anodized aluminum frame and hardware. As a European-style cubicle system, Evolve features pedestal-supported, floor-anchored, overhead-braced installation, and comes standard with integrated privacy options, such as gap-free design and occupancy indicator latches with emergency access.
Evolve will be part of of Bobrick’s “Cubicle Lounge” at booth 6728 on the A’19 Expo Floor, which will also showcase PRIVADA Cubicles—a European-style cubicle system engineered for upscale buildings—as well as color and material samples. Bobrick representatives will be available to discuss Bobrick’s expanded privacy offering and the design possibilities they reveal for a range of building projects.
In addition, Bobrick representatives will engage with design professionals about its expanded library of continuing education courses and online resources. Bobrick recently introduced its fourth AIA-accredited, Health, Safety & Wellness (HSW) Continuing Education course, “Designing Restrooms for Sustainable Operation,” which outlines strategies through which architects can support long-term, sustainable, economical operation and harmonized design through their specifications. In the coming months, Bobrick will also release a course centered on privacy solutions in the restroom, including cost-benefit comparisons across toilet partitions, cubicles and other methods of achieving privacy.
Representatives also will be available to provide guided tours of Bobrick’s newly redesigned website, which provides architects with a range of resources to support project research and product evaluation, such as case studies and other content developed to better serve various members of the commercial construction channel, including architects, specifiers and facility managers.
“From our newest accessories to our new education and project support tools, we are expanding our commitment to the needs of the architect,” says David Leigh, Vice President, Marketing. “Whether it’s a product, project inspiration or expertise on current best practices, we look forward to providing design professionals with smarter solutions.”
