The storm system rolling through the state on Tuesday has canceled about 15% of flights at Bradley International Airport.

“Bradley International Airport is open, and our snow removal operations are ongoing,” airport officials said Tuesday morning.

“As our airline partners continue adjusting their schedules in response to the storm, additional cancellations and delays are possible,” according to officials.

Anyone planning to fly Tuesday has been encouraged to contact their respective airline to confirm the status of their flight, airport officials said.

Gov. Ned Lamont Tuesday morning said this winter storm is unique in that some parts of the state may see significant snow totals, while others may see little snow or just rain.
