Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport Poised for Single Busiest Day in History Today
PortsToronto, owner and operator of Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (Billy Bishop Airport), on Oct. 7, announced that more than 13,000 passengers will travel through Billy Bishop Airport in advance of the Thanksgiving Day weekend making it the single busiest day in the history of the airport.
The announcement comes on the heels of the busiest summer yet at Billy Bishop Airport with more than 782,000 people travelling through the airport in June, July and August. Both Porter Airlines and Air Canada are key contributors to the high passenger numbers that will include many leisure travellers departing from and arriving in Toronto ahead of the three-day long weekend.
