Southwest to Begin Nonstop Albany-Denver Service

Rev. Kenneth Doyle, Chairman of the Albany County Airport Authority on Nov. 8, announced that Southwest Airlines will begin daily non-stop service between Albany International Airport and Denver International Airport on April 25.

“The airport authority has long-sought non-stop service to Denver to provide cCapital Region business and leisure travelers with more convenient access to additional Midwest and Pacific Coast destinations,” Doyle said.  “The new service to the Denver hub will offer will offer our travelers one-stop connections to more than 30 destinations.”

The non-stop Denver flight will leave Albany International Airport Monday-Friday at 6:10 p.m. and arrive at Denver at 8:25 p.m.  The return flight will leave Denver at 7:25 p.m. and arrive at Albany at 1:05 a.m. The weekend Denver flight will leave Albany at 10:25 a.m. and arrive in Denver at 12:35 p.m.  The weekend return flight will leave Denver at 6:15 p.m. and arrive in Albany at 11:55 p.m.
