View announced that its smart windows have been installed at the new Delta Sky Club in the Seattle-Tacoma (Sea-Tac) International Airport that opened in late October. The installation of more than 7,500 square feet of View Dynamic Glass at the premium lounge reflects Delta's commitment to creating world-class experiences for its guests.
At 21,000 square feet, the new Club is the second Delta Sky Club at Sea-Tac and ranks among the five largest Delta Sky Clubs. With View Dynamic Glass, Club members and guests can enjoy unobstructed, stunning views of Mount Rainier, the tallest mountain in Washington state, in a relaxing environment without glare or thermal discomfort.
"Delta and View share a vision to create delightful, world-class experiences," said View CEO Rao Mulpuri. "View Dynamic Glass enables Delta to provide a comfortable, modern environment for its guests with wellness at the center. We are pleased to partner with a company that employs such a thoughtful approach to the guest experience."
View Dynamic Glass also enables the Club, which can host up to 400 guests, to maintain temperature at optimal levels and maximize the natural daylight by eliminating the need for internal blinds and external shading structures. Research suggests that views and natural daylight help increase wellness for occupants, and this installation underscores Delta's commitment to create a more comfortable and relaxing airport environment for its passengers.
"View Dynamic Glass is one of the Seattle Club's architectural showpieces," said Claude Roussel, managing director – Delta Sky Club. "Installing smart windows shows Delta's commitment to elevate our guest experience. We are excited for our guests to enjoy exceptional views free from heat and glare as part of their Club experience."
