To show appreciation for their service in protecting America, Delaware North on Nov. 18, announced plans to provide a free Thanksgiving Day dinner to active duty military members traveling through Richmond International Airport’s United Service Organization (USO) outpost.

Delaware North, which operates food and beverage outlets at the Richmond airport, will be cooking and delivering a traditional Thanksgiving dinner of roasted turkey with gravy, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and a mixed greens salad to the airport’s USO location on Thanksgiving Day.

“Thanksgiving is the perfect time to reflect and remember the sacrifices so many men and women in our military have made to keep us safe,” said Kevin Kelly, president of Delaware North’s travel business. “Our teams are proud to provide a great meal to the active military members who will be traveling through our airports during the Thanksgiving holiday, it’s a small token of gratitude for their service to our country.”
