Garver announced Tim O'Krongley, former deputy aviation director for the city of San Antonio’s Aviation Department, has joined its aviation team as director of aviation planning from our San Antonio office.
O’Krongley is an industry leader with more than 25 years of experience in airport management, including general aviation development, strategic planning, safety management systems (SMS), security management systems (SeMS) and foreign object debris (FOD) programs, among other things.
At the San Antonio Aviation Department, O’Krongley oversaw the San Antonio International Airport System’s strategic planning initiatives. He previously served as assistant aviation director of airport operations at the airport system, where he helped create the operations division’s FOD prevention program, SMS program, and SeMS program, making San Antonio International Airport the first airport in the nation to implement these programs and a model for other North American airports. He will use his experience gained in San Antonio to serve Garver clients nationwide.
