Harvest & Grounds Debuts at Detroit Metropolitan Airport

Delaware North has announced the opening of Harvest & Grounds, a Euro-American bakery and café, in McNamara Terminal C at Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW).

Harvest & Grounds serves freshly baked pastries, espresso drinks, sandwiches, salads, gourmet bite-to-eat plates, and packaged snacks. At DTW, Harvest & Grounds will proudly serve products from Detroit-based Avalon Bakery, including fresh-baked bread and sweets, and coffee from Ann Arbor’s Mighty Good Coffee Roasting Co. Coffee lovers can also try specialty brews, such as the cold-brewed iced coffee, which is prepared with Harvest & Grounds’ unique Nitro Coffee Tap system.

"As we’ve done with our other food and retail outlets at DTW, we wanted Harvest & Grounds to be a reflection of the distinctive flavors found in Detroit,” said Kevin Kelly, president of Delaware North’s travel division. “By offering well-known and high-quality local products, we give travelers a true taste of the region.”

The Harvest & Grounds dining concept was developed by Delaware North and can be found in airports around the country.
