ATL Toyland Tradition Continues for Area Schoolchildren
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) officials will host Holidays At Hartsfield-Jackson, a celebration of the holiday season for Airport area schoolchildren Dec. 7. This year marks the 20th year ATL has hosted a holiday event for students in schools neighboring the Airport. The theme is “ATL Presents: Toyland.”
More than 500 first-graders will participate in the daylong program that features a magic show, a puppeteer, clowns, well-known children’s characters and a surprise visit from a certain red-clad, bearded gentleman offering gifts.
The students will also hear from ATL executives explaining the role the Airport plays in the transportation industry. ATL partners and concessionaries will provide food and gifts to the students during the event, which, having grown in popularity, will take place at the Delta Flight Museum adjacent to the Airport.
