Fairbanks International Airport Police Arrest One of ICE’s Most Wanted

On Dec. 5, at approximately 3:59 a.m. two Fairbanks International Airport Police Officers arrested one of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Most Wanted child pornography fugitives, who has been eluding law enforcement since 2012.

Kevin Trask was contacted by airport police during a routine traffic stop where he provided false identification. Upon further investigation it was determined that Trask was wanted for possession and distribution of child pornography and was listed on the ICE Most Wanted list. Click here for more information.

The Fairbanks Airport Police Department would like to commend the officers involved for their proactive law enforcement efforts, keen observations, and investigative skills. They have removed one of the nation’s most wanted and reprehensible criminal predators from our community.

The Fairbanks International Airport Police Department is working collaboratively with the local Federal Bureau of Investigation and the investigation is ongoing.
