Confirming other recent customer satisfaction surveys results, J.D. Power and Associates’ annual Airport Satisfaction Study is out and it names Orlando International Airport (MCO) as one of the Best Airports in the Nation.

MCO ranked 4th for large airports. The study looked at six key factors: terminal facilities; airport accessibility; security checkpoints; baggage claims; check-in; food, beverage and retail.

“With our continued focus on the customer experience and new state-of-the-art facilities coming on line in the next few years, we are hopeful that future surveys will continue to reflect well on our efforts of being a world-class airport,” says Phil Brown, Executive Director of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “J.D. Power and Associates is a highly regarded source for customer satisfaction data and we are pleased with the results.”

The study, now in its 11th year, is based on responses from nearly 39,000 North American travelers who traveled through at least one domestic or international airport with both departure and arrival experiences during the past three months.

MCO ranked number one in Connecting Overall Satisfaction, Connecting Terminal Facilities Satisfaction and Food, Beverage and Retail Satisfaction.
