MSN Airport Announces Additional Newark Flight
United Airlines will be expanding summer service from Madison to the New York City area with an additional daily non-stop flight to Newark, New Jersey. Strong customer demand continues to drive flight service additions.
"This additional flight is a testament to the high quality and excellent service of our airport,” said Dane County Executive Joe Parisi. “Continued expansion of service is great for local residents and business travelers, and a critical part of our efforts to maintain a strong local economy.” Beginning May 5th, an additional non-stop flight to Newark will depart at 6:20 p.m., and arrive at 9:27 p.m. ExpressJet will operate the flight as United Express and utilize a 50-seat Embraer 145 Aircraft featuring two-by-one seating and Economy Plus seating offering extra legroom.
“We are extremely pleased that United has decided to add additional flight options for our customers traveling to and from Madison,” said Airport Director Bradley Livingston, AAE.
