Alaska Airlines Announces New Service from STL to San Diego

Alaska Airlines has announced new service between St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) and San Diego (SAN) beginning Dec. 15. San Diego will be Alaska’s third destination to/from STL. The daily roundtrip to SAN will be offered on a 76-seat Embraer E175 jet. The daily flight from San Diego will depart 8:30 a.m. local time. The departure from STL will be at 3:55 p.m. local time.

The new service to STL is part of a larger expansion for Alaska to five other markets from San Diego, mostly in the Midwest. Alaska’s also announced a major social media contest in all new markets including St. Louis. St. Louisans have a chance to win round-trip flights to San Diego, a two-night hotel stay, one-day passes to the San Diego Zoo and $500 in Visa gift cards.
