Allegiant Airlines To Begin Nonstop Service From Boise to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport
On Oct. 6, Allegiant Airlines will begin nonstop service between Boise and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. The new service will operate twice weekly, with departures and arrivals on Friday and Monday.
“We are very excited that Allegiant Airlines decided to expand their service at the Boise Airport. The addition of Phoenix/Mesa Gateway Airport allows access to one of our top destinations at an ultra-low cost”, said Airport Director Rebecca Hupp. “Allegiant Airlines has been a great partner at the Boise Airport since 2012, offering low fares to exciting destinations. We look forward to continuing our relationship and supporting the new service to ensure it is successful.”
With the addition of Phoenix-Mesa Gateway, the Boise Airport has service to 21 nonstop destinations, just one less than the record of 22 nonstop destinations served in 2007.
“We’re thrilled to announce another new, low-cost travel option in Boise,” said Lukas Johnson, Allegiant senior vice president of commercial. “We know that Phoenix is a popular destination for many Boise-area travelers, and we are excited to offer a convenient, nonstop service at a fare that everyone can afford.”
