Hero Maintainer, Rich Krul, Awarded With the Sons of the American Revolution Medal for Heroism

Flint Bishop International Airport Authority Maintainer, Rich Krul’s heroic actions saved the life of Officer Lt. Jeff Neville, and perhaps countless others, when Mr. Krul came to the immediate assistance of the officer when he was attacked by a terrorist on June 21 in our terminal. 

Today, the Sons of the American Revolution, Michigan Society, Paul Emery Chapter awarded Rich Krul with one of their highest forms of recognition: the SAR Medal for Heroism, for his exceptional deeds.  This award recognizes “outstanding bravery and self-sacrifice in the face of imminent danger for acts that involve great personal courage and risk to the recipient”.
