Metz Culinary Management Brings Dunkin' Donuts to Orlando Melbourne International Airport
Some passengers arrive at an airport with a hunger for travel, and others just arrive hungry. For this last group, Metz Culinary Management is cutting the ribbon on a Dunkin’ Donuts location within the Orlando Melbourne International Airport.
The ribbon cutting on the new donut shop – which also serves muffins, sandwiches, coffee and boxes and boxes of pop-in-your-mouth Munchkins – was March 12. Dunkin Donuts joins Lucky’s Craft Food & Drink as another exciting food and beverage option for the airport.
Rick Sell, Metz’ vice president of restaurant operations, is enthusiastic not only about adding a nationally recognized brand to the location’s food service but also its placement in the concourse.
“Dunkin Donuts will be located behind the security checkpoint. That means passengers can navigate their way through all the security checks and then relax with a great cup of coffee, donut or bagel while waiting to board.”
Dunkin Donuts is eager to start serving travelers.
“We are excited that Metz Culinary Management has decided to continue growing with the Dunkin’ brand and open a new location in the Orlando Melbourne International Airport to offer our wide range of food and beverage products to guests traveling on the go,” says Chris Burr, director of nontraditional development for Dunkin’ Brands. “Dunkin’ Donuts’ growth would not be possible without the continued support of our existing franchisees who continue to demonstrate their high confidence in our brand and bring the Dunkin’ Donuts' products and promotions to life every day.”
