Jacob Sotsky Promoted to Director in Jacobsen|Daniels Planning Practice
Jacobsen|Daniels (J|D) announced that Jacob Sotsky has been promoted to director in the planning practice. In this capacity, he will take on greater responsibility in managing company resources to execute client project work across the country while focusing on our mission to improve the journey at both our airport and airport partner clients.
“Jacob has provided invaluable leadership in the Los Angeles office,” said Darryl Daniels, president and CEO of Jacobsen|Daniels. “He not only spearheaded the expansion and renovation of our Los Angeles office, but has continued to demonstrate an ability to successfully manage projects, manage clients, mentor staff, and garner new work and opportunities for the Planning Practice as well as our other practices. We are excited to see Jacob continue to provide leadership for our Los Angeles office, grow our west coast client base, and provide leadership corporate-wide.”
Jacob relocated the firm’s Los Angeles office in 2015, and his primary focus has been in support of the Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP) at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and the Airport Development Plan (ADP) at San Diego International Airport (SAN). He holds a Civil Engineering degree from Tulane University and an MBA from the University of Louisville.
