Frontier Airlines Moves to Terminal 5 at O'Hare International Airport
The Chicago Department of Aviation and Frontier Airlines announce that effective May 12, Frontier will relocate its operations from Terminal 3 to Terminal 5 at O'Hare International Airport, including ticketing, check-in, gate assignments and baggage claim. Frontier passengers are advised to follow airport signage into the airport and take the Bessie Coleman exit to access passenger departures/arrivals for Terminal 5.
Frontier's flights will operate from common use gates in Terminal 5, as was the case in Terminal 3, and Frontier passengers flying domestic will claim luggage at Baggage Carousel No. 10 in the lower level of Terminal 5. Goddess & Grocer, Hub51 and RJ Grunts restaurants at Terminal 5 have extended their hours to provide passengers with breakfast options starting at 4:30 a.m.
All airport signage at O'Hare will be updated in the early morning hours of May 12 to reflect Frontier's new location in Terminal 5. The changes will also be applied on the CDA's website. Frontier is notifying its customers in advance by email and will have staff and signage at its ticket counters in Terminal 3 during the transition to redirect passengers to Terminal 5.
