Vacation Express inaugurated new nonstop service between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on June 4. Inaugural ceremonies included a live music performance by Paul Morris, a ribbon cutting, cake and remarks from airline officials.
Vacation Express’ new nonstop flight service between Austin and Punta Cana will operate once per week, departing Austin on Mondays. Flights depart Austin at 9:30 a.m. and arrive in Punta Cana at 2:55 p.m. Punta Cana to Austin flights depart Sundays at 1 p.m. and arrive in Austin at 4:50 p.m. All times are local. Swift Air will operate the flights, arriving and departing from the Barbara Jordan Terminal from June 4 – Aug. 6, on a 150 seat B737-400 aircraft with first-class seating.
