View on June 13, announced it was awarded a contract by Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to install up to 500,000 square feet of smart windows in DFW’s passenger terminals. DFW joins a large and growing list of leading airports rapidly adopting dynamic glass and setting a new standard in delightful passenger environments.

A recent study at gate DFW’s Gate A28 and a nearby restaurant showed that View Dynamic Glass significantly improved passenger comfort over conventional glass, resulting in an 83 percent increase in passenger dwell time at preferred gate seating and a 102 percent increase in concession sales. View Dynamic Glass also demonstrated the ability to reduce HVAC and lighting energy usage by up to 15 percent in terminals during peak periods, significantly reducing carbon emissions.
