United Airlines Increases Service Between Cleveland and Houston, Los Angeles, Orlando and San Francisco
United Airlines is offering Cleveland area customers more opportunities to connect between Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and its hubs in Houston, Los Angeles and San Francisco beginning this fall. The airline is also adding another flight between Cleveland and Orlando International Airport in Florida.
“United’s decision to boost service is a valuable investment in our city,” said Mayor Frank G. Jackson.
Beginning in September, United will increase from seasonal summer flying to twice-daily year round service between Cleveland and Los Angeles and San Francisco and will add a sixth daily flight to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport beginning Oct. 28. The airline also announced it is increasing service between Cleveland and Orlando with a second Saturday flight beginning Nov. 3. In addition to the added services, United will resume seasonal winter service for customers traveling between Cleveland and Fort Lauderdale and Fort Myers, Florida on Dec. 19.
“United Airlines has been a great partner to our airport,” said Airport Director Robert Kennedy. “We are pleased to see their investment in additional service for our guests and we hope they continue their growth in the future.”
