Alton Aviation Consultancy Expands to Europe with Dublin Office and Appoints New Managing Director
Alton Aviation Consultancy has further broadened its global reach with the opening of its new office in Dublin. Concurrent with its opening, the company has appointed Enda Clarke as managing director with leadership responsibilities for the Dublin operation.
Prior to joining Alton Aviation Consultancy, Clarke held the position of Chief Executive – Technical at Santos Dumont, with responsibility for co-leading its aviation consultancy, technical and asset management services business. Mr Clarke brings over a dozen years of proven aviation advisory experience – most of them, working with senior executives in airlines, leasing companies, and aircraft investment firms. At Alton, he leads a wide range of commercial and technical advisory engagements throughout the investment and asset life cycle, ranging from due diligence and aircraft purchase / lease negotiations to aircraft asset management and transition programs. Additionally, Enda delivers management consulting engagements to airlines, lessors, and MROs with specific strengths in benchmarking, process design, process improvement, and project management. In addition to an honors degree in Aeronautical Engineering, he also holds an MBA in Aviation Management from the University of Limerick.
Speaking of his new appointment and the new office, Clarke said, “There are a multitude of good reasons for selecting Dublin as the first European center for Alton Aviation Consultancy. Ireland has a unique place on the global stage of aviation history together with a legacy of innovation that continues today. In addition to being home to some of Europe’s leading airlines and maintenance, repair, and overhaul facilities, Dublin is recognized as a global hub for aircraft leasing and financing, which is a key market segment for Alton. I look forward to building on the impressive capabilities that Alton Aviation Consultancy can deploy and continuing the strong tradition of aviation excellence here in Dublin.”
John Mowry, managing director of Alton Aviation Consultancy, added, “We’re excited to establish our new Dublin office to be closer to many of our clients, and to enhance our around-the-clock responsiveness with our existing offices in New York, Hong Kong, and Beijing. We’re equally delighted that Enda has joined the team. His leadership capability, seasoned advisory experience, and depth of subject matter expertise are highly complementary to our broad range of capabilities across the entire aviation ecosystem, allowing us to bring even more value to our clients.”
