Frontier Airlines to Launch Service to Montego Bay from PHL
Frontier Airlines has announced it will begin seasonal non-stop service between Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Montego Bay, Jamaica beginning Feb. 10.
The service is scheduled to depart Thursday and Sunday at 6 am from Philadelphia and arrive 9:56 am in Montego Bay. Flights will depart from Sangster International Airport (MBJ) at 10:56 am and arrive at 2:40 pm in Philadelphia. Frontier plans to use A-320 aircraft on the route.
Montego Bay is Frontier’s 28th non-stop destination from Philadelphia. Currently, American Airlines offers non-stop service to Montego Bay from PHL.
Earlier this year, Frontier Airlines added new service to Charleston, Jacksonville, Madison, Memphis, Omaha, Birmingham, Grand Rapids, Indianapolis, Savannah, and Dallas-Fort Worth. Last month, the airline announced it will begin non-stop seasonal flights to Sarasota in December, becoming the only airline at PHL to offer direct service to the Florida Gulf Coast city.
“We are pleased that Frontier Airlines continues to add more flights to more destinations from Philadelphia,” said Airport CEO Chellie Cameron. “The new service to Montego Bay will give our customers more options to fly to a warm weather destination during the winter months.”
