ILM Receives Award from Airports Council International-North America
On Nov. 15, Wilmington International Airport received the Airports Council International North America’s (ACI-NA) Brand Identity Honorable Mention Award, during the Airports Council International–North America (ACI-NA) 2018 Excellence in Airport Marketing, Communications, and Customer Service Awards program in Ottawa, Canada.
Since its formation in 1990, the ACI-NA contest recognizes the quality of work, abundance of talent, and creativity within the marketing and communications field of the airport industry. A panel of industry executives select the winners in each award category. ILM was recognized for their brand identity work with the airport’s rebrand, which included a new logo, tagline, and comprehensive marketing campaign.
“We were very proud to receive the award and to represent our airport and community in a room full of talented airport professionals from across the USA and Canada.” stated Erin McNally, marketing specialist with the Wilmington International Airport. “Local firm, Morvil Advertising & Design, offered wonderful creative vision and partnership throughout the rebranding process. ILM’s rebrand was a true team effort and we appreciate the staff, volunteers, and community partners that helped make it a success.”
