Tina Millán has been named national market leader for aviation at WSP USA.
In this position, Millán will bring together the firm’s full suite of advisory, planning, design, and program/construction management services to address the situations facing clients in the aviation industry. From changes in how airports are financed and delivered, to enhancing the customer experience through airport design and construction, to understanding aviation sustainability and resiliency opportunities.
“As our national market leader, Tina will always have her focus on our clients — ensuring they are getting the best advice and resources to meet the needs they have today, and helping them prepare for the future,” said Joseph G. Pulicare, president of the U.S. transportation and infrastructure.
Millán, who joined WSP in 2016, is a senior vice president and was most recently responsible for managing the firm’s aviation practice, including overseeing and developing the talent of 70+ staff, managing major projects, and leading business development. She has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s geographic presence and diversifying its client base and business sectors, and has built strong client relationships through successful project delivery.
Prior to joining WSP, Millán served as vice president for the North American infrastructure division of a global professional services firm, where she was responsible for managing a team of aviation experts on projects for Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, Houston Airport System, and San Francisco International Airport.
Millán earned a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and a master’s degree from Florida International University. Among her professional certifications, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and a Project Management Professional.
