The new year-round nonstop flight to ATL joins Delta’s schedule at OAK of up to 5 daily nonstop flights to its hub in Salt Lake City.
Port of Oakland Director of Aviation, Bryant L. Francis, said: “We are pleased that Delta’s nonstop Atlanta service will extend beyond summer beginning this year. This expansion of service offers innumerable possibilities to our customers throughout the Bay Area looking to travel through Delta’s largest hub to points worldwide. And likewise, it offers a convenient channel for travelers around the world to reach the Bay Area through OAK.”
Delta has served OAK since 1946, initially via Western Airlines, which it acquired in 1987.
