Hunter Industrial has donated and installed two ECO 18’ high-volume low-speed (HVLS) fans to DCI Logistics, a non-profit organization that specializes in transportation within the organ transplantation community.

DCI Logistics is a subsidiary of Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) and is located in Nashville at the International Airport (BNA) where they maintain a 24/7 professional dispatching service. DCI Logistics completed 211 flights that supported the recovery of 231 organs in 2018. Hunter Industrial’s fans were installed in DCI Logistic’s 10,000 square-foot hangar at BNA.

“We’re proud to support the mission of DCI while helping keep their employees cool as they work in the hangar,” Mark D’Agostino, senior vice president and general manager of Hunter Industrial. “In addition to keeping employees comfortable, the fans will also help lower operation and maintenance costs.”

Hunter Industrial’s ECO HVLS Series fan is among the most lightweight and economical industrial fans on the market, ranging in diameter from eight feet to 24 feet. The ECO utilizes a custom direct drive motor specifically designed for the industrial fan market with blades designed by aerospace engineers.

“Our hangar at BNA is specifically for planes that facilitate organ transplantation around the country,” said Adam Burk, director of operations for DCI Logistics. “The Hunter fans will enhance our space and create a more pleasant working environment that allows us to remain focused on our mission of saving and improving lives through donation and transplantation.”
